HCL Tech board okays merger

NEW DELHI: HCL Technologies Ltd has said its board of directors has approved the amalgamation of its wholly-owned subsidiaries, HCL Technologies BPO Services Ltd and HCL Technologies (Mumbai) Ltd to itself.

HCL Tech informed the BSE on Friday that the board had also approved the draft Scheme of Arrangement between the two subsidiaries. The approval of the board is subject to requisite approvals, HCL Tech said.
