SIS software for US hospitals

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: Surgical Information Systems, LLC (SIS) has announced that SSM Health Care (SSMHC), a major health care system in the US, has selected the SIS Peri-operative information system and will integrate 15 hospitals across Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Illinois in US.

This software will facilitate surgical case documentation across 142 suites, 29 endoscopy suites and 22 minor procedure rooms and allow doctors and nurses instant access to vital patient information at a patient's bedside, minimising administrative tasks and reducing errors while providing increased time for patient care.

Mr Drew Cobb, Vice-President of Development for Surgical Information Systems, in a statement said, "Our Indian operations (SIS has a development centre in Hyderabad) have the requisite technological expertise to enable rapid product development and launch cycles to maintain our leadership in surgical systems."
