Tata Tele appointments

MUMBAI: Tata Teleservices has appointed Mr Ajay Pandey as head of its Programme Management Office, which is the outfit that will be in-charge of rolling out the company's network in 11 new circles. The outfit has already received letters of intent for the same.

Mr Pandey will also be responsible for increasing the capacity in the existing circles, a news release from the company said. Until now, he was President of the Tata Indicom Enterprise Business Unit (TIEBU), a joint sales and marketing set-up for the telecom companies of the Tata group.

Mr Sandeep Mathur, who is currently the chief operating officer for the Andhra Pradesh circle of Tata Teleservices, will now be the President of TIEBU.
