Events Handicrafts showroom opened in Kochi Our Bureau
KOCHI: The new showroom of Kerala State Handicrafts Apex Society (Surabhi) was inaugurated at D.H.Road near Jos Junction by the Ernakulam District Collector, Mr Gyaneshkumar. A large collection of exquisite handicrafts in sandalwood, rosewood, whitewood, paintings, jewelleries, beautiful crafts in metals like brass, bell metal, aluminium are on sale at 10 per cent discount during this festival season till December 31. Over 40 years, Surabhi is engaged in the marketing of handicrafts from co-operative societies and craftmen directly, thereby eliminating the middlemen and offering the reasonable prices to the customers. The 10 per cent discount sale is offered at all the showrooms of Surabhi both inside and outside the State, a release said.
