Marginal rise in rubber prices

RUBBER rates improved on Monday. Scattered buying from covering groups added gains to most grades as sellers sidelined the market.

Ungraded rubber and latex were static on comparatively less demand while the trading was in a low key. In the Bangkok market, RSS 3 moved up to quote at Rs 55.06 against Rs 54.49 per kg on Thursday.In the futures market, January delivery was quoted at Rs 55.75 (Rs 55.95), February delivery at Rs 58.35 (Rs 58.32), March delivery at Rs 60.40 (Rs 60.47) and April delivery at Rs 61.70 (Rs 61.77) per kg for RSS 4.
