Infosys Foundation plans new hospital in Hyderabad

VIJAYAWADA: Infosys Foundation is planning to build a modern hospital with an investment of Rs 3 crore in the heart of Hyderabad, according to Ms Sudha Murthy, Chairperson of the Foundation and wife of the Infosys founder, Mr Narayana Murty. The Hospital will be ready in a year's time.

The State Government will provide land free of cost for the project to come up near the Niloufer Hospital, she said while accepting the Dr Pinnamaneni and Sita Devi award here on Monday. The award carrying Rs 1 lakh in cash and a citation was presented to her by Mr Rajagopal, Managing Director of the Lanco Group of companies.
