AirTel customer wins Ikon

HYDERABAD: AirTel has announced the first prize winner of the `Sachin se Poochho, Aaj Kya Jeeta' offer — Mr P. Srinivasa Rao. A resident of Macherla, Durgi Mandal, Mr Rao was presented with a Ford Ikon on Monday.

This offer was open valid for all AirTel pre-paid customers across 15 AirTel circles for a month i.e. November 2003.

The `Sachin se Poochho, Aaj Kya Jeeta' offer uses an interactive device to inform subscribers about their prizes. On buying a new AirTel prepaid card, all that a subscriber needs to do is to dial 778, where upon Sachin would tell them what they have won. This has been made possible using interactive voice technology used by AirTel.
