Court okays Taj GVK, Punjab Hotels merger

TAJ GVK Hotels & Resorts Ltd has informed the stock exchanges on Monday that the High Court of Delhi approved amalgamation of Punjab Hotels Ltd, a 100-per cent subsidiary of the company, with itself. According to Taj GVK, the merger would be effective November 1, 2002.

The company informed the exchanges that this was taken on record by its board of directors at its meeting held on December 5.
