Land acquisition for road project in Kaloor

Our Bureau

KOCHI: The obstacles for throwing open the Kaloor-Kathrikadavu stretch of the road from Kaloor to Kadavanthra have been removed with the completion of land acquisition measures.

The State Government had permission to pass a special order to enable landowners (who have surrendered land) to withdraw cash from the Treasury. The GCDA will be able to gain possession of 1,749 hectares of land now.
