OVER 70 Indian companies will participate in 2004 Hannover Fair, according to organisers of the event.

The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce will organise group participation for Indian companies to facilitate sub-contracting, they said.

Indian companies in the areas of castings, forgings, components, electricals and engineering will be the key participants in the fair to be held from April 19-24.

"India is one of the top three Asian countries participating in the Hannover Fair," said Mr B. Steinruecke, Director-General of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce. The chamber will also organise group participation of small and medium enterprises from India.
