BHEL bags order from Ambuja Cement

NEW DELHI: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has bagged an equipment order from Ambuja Cement Eastern Ltd (ACEL) for a captive power plant at its cement factory in Chhattisgarh.

Aimed at augmenting its captive power generation capacity, ACEL has placed the order for a 15-MW steam turbine generator set with BHEL. The captive plant is to be installed at its cement unit at Bhatapara, near Raipur.
