Conference on concrete roads at Vizag

VISAKHAPATNAM: A three-day national conference on concrete roads and bituminous roads will be held here from December 18 to December 20 at Green Park Hotel by Gitam College.

Prof D.L Narasimha Rao, Convener, said though the country had 3.3 million km of road network, the second largest in the world, the quality of roads was poor. The conference would dwell on asphalt pavement technology, used commonly in India, and the comparative advantages of concrete pavements.
