Our Bureau

VISAKHAPATNAM: International Doorway to Education and Athletics (IDEA) offers students and student athletes (amateur) from all over the world an opportunity to obtain sports/academic scholarships in over 70 colleges/universities in the USA, according to Ms Sangeeta Sehgal, who has been appointed branch manager here.

At a press meet here on Saturday, she said through the organisation over 1,000 students had succeeded in obtaining scholarships since 1997. A sum of $ 31.5 million had been awarded during the period. IDEA through its offices in 10 countries was enabling students to avail themselves of the opportunities in the US. "In case the organisation is not able to secure a minimum of two scholarships for the student the fee would be repaid.''
