Nutrine scholarships

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh students bagged 37 out of the 80 scholarships announced by Nutrine, the country's largest-selling sweets and toffees company. The winners were selected through a contest held during June-August 2003.

More than 1.5 lakh students participated in the contest held in the South Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, according to a press release. The scholarship entails a cast award of Rs 5,000 and was presented to 22 winners by Mr Putta Sekar, Group Brand Manager of Nutrine Confectionery, in Hyderabad on Monday.
