Global Trust Bank gets AGM nod for new auditor

Hyderabad , Dec. 24

THE tenth annual general meeting of Global Trust Bank Ltd (GTB) on Wednesday approved the appointment of M Bhaskara Rao & Co as the statutory auditors in place of the retiring auditors PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The appointment will be in vogue till the conclusion of the next AGM, the bank said in a press release.

The AGM has also given its nod for the appointment of Dr Pamidi Kotaiah, former Chairman of Nabard, Dr Sailendra Narain, former CMD of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Mr Soma Dayanand, an industrialist, and Mr Girish Gelli, consultant for insurance, banking and outsourcing, as Directors of the bank.
