Sakthivel elected AEPC Chairman

MR A. SAKTHIVEL, the founder-President of the Tirupur Exporters' Association, has been elected as the Chairman of the Apparel Export Promotion Council.He has been elected unanimously for the office at the AEPC's executive committee meeting held yesterday, according to a press release from the TEA.

Mr Sakthivel, currently the southern regional Chairman of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations and the Chairman of the Tirupur industry promoted Nethaji Apparel Park, has already been the Chairman of the AEPC for a term in 1998-99.
