Cultural festival at Kochi

KOCHI: The landscaped premises of Pallath Raman Cultural Centre, Fort Kochi and a cultural festival will be inaugurated here on Saturday. The Pallath Raman Centre is managed by the Centre for Studies in Culture and Heritage of Kochi of the Kochi Corporation.

The corporation plans to convert the centre into a permanent art centre where dance and music programmes and events in different art forms will be regularly staged by eminent artistes. The Tourism Minister, Prof K.V. Thomas will inaugurate the festival.

The calendar of events to be staged at the centre would be displayed at all major hotels in the city. The centre has also plans to open dance and music schools.
