Country head for PeopleSoft

BANGALORE: PeopleSoft has announced the appointment of Mr Thiru Vengadam as India Country Manager, following the acquisition of J.D. Edwards, assuming responsibility for all of PeopleSoft's operations in India.

Mr Vengadam previously managed PeopleSoft in India prior to the acquisition. Mr Tariq Farooqui, previously Country Manager for J.D. Edwards in India, will lead PeopleSoft's alliances and partnerships in South Asia as Alliances Director.

"With our focus on delivering our customers a better software ownership experience, and delivering solutions to help them achieve competitive advantage, I am looking forward to our continued leadership in India," said Mr Thiru Vengadam.

PeopleSoft in India works with a number of partners such as IBM BCS, Tata Consultancy Services, Satyam Computer Services, Hexaware Technologies, HCL Technologies, vMoksha Technologies, Birlasoft, Systime Computers, Polaris Software Labs, L&T Infotech and Accel ICIM.
