BANK of Baroda has named Ms Koneru Humpy, the youngest woman chess grandmaster in India, as a brand ambassador for its education loan.

"Koneru Humpy is a symbol of Bank of Baroda's commitment to promoting young talent, hence we have strengthened our association with her as a brand ambassador for our education loans,'' Mr Prem Khatri, Head - Marketing, Bank of Baroda, said at a press conference today.

The bank said it aims to encourage young talent and help them achieve their dreams and goals by offering them education loans.

The bank has sponsored the first Asian Chess Tournament for the visually impaired.
