Pipe dream?

Workers unloading pipes in Kelambakkam, 30 km from Chennai for the Rs 720-crore Veeranam project which will bring drinking water from the Veeranam lake near Villupuram to Chennai. The project is scheduled to be completed by May 2004 and will provide relief to the city, which is reeling under severe water crisis.
