Events X'mas fairs fetch Rs 55 lakh in Kerala Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The special `Christmas fairs' organised this year by the Kerala Civil Supplies Corporation brought in a revenue of Rs 55 lakh, says an official press release. This is 23 per cent more than the amount earned by the Christmas fairs organised last year, the release adds. The fair in Thiruvananthapuram was the top revenue grosser, earning Rs 11.25 lakh, while Kollam came next with Rs 5.5 lakh, says the release. The Civil Supplies Department had organised some 27 special fairs for Christmas.
