Cotton TN cotton council to meet tomorrow Our Bureau
Coimbatore , Dec. 29 THE State Cotton Council meeting is scheduled to be held in Chennai on December 31 under the chairmanship of the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Tamil Nadu Government, who is the head of the council. This will be the ninth meeting of the council. The council is expected to discuss among other things the proposed State cotton development policy at the meeting. The meeting is also likely to have discussions on the cotton market yards improvements being undertaken in the State, the seed development and the Bt cotton promotion in the State, the industry/cotton trade sources here said.
