Railways appoints five new General Managers

New Delhi , Dec. 29

THE Railway Board Secretary, Mr R.R. Bhandari, has been appointed General Manager of South-Eastern Railway based at Kolkata, replacing Mr V.N. Garg, who has retired.

The Additional Member (Works), Railway Board, Mr S.R. Chowdhuri, will be the new General Manager of the East Coast Railway in Bhubaneshwar.

The Additional Member (Mechanical Engineering), Mr M.Z. Ansari, has been appointed General Manager, Western Railway, Mumbai, while the Additional Member (Civil Engineering), Mr Shyam Kumar, will take over as General Manager, Eastern Railway, Kolkata, an official release said here on Monday.
