KFC prunes interest rates

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With a view to boost industrial development and generate employment, the public sector Kerala Finance Corporation (KFC) has announced reduced rates of interest on various loan schemes.

As per the dispensation, new loans would attract an interest rate of 11.5 per cent only. The loan schemes, which currently carry 14.5 per cent, would henceforth be available for 12.5 per cent. The changes have been made applicable with effect from December 15.
