Camera phones from Reliance

RELIANCE Infocomm has launched two colour camera phones, with one of them the first mobile phone in India to work with RUIM card, which is equivalent to a SIM card in GSM phones, said a news release from the company.

The phones are the GTRAN GCP 4020 from GTRAN Wireless Inc, US, priced at Rs 14,001 with the detachable phone, and at Rs 12,001 without it; and the Samsung SCH A 603, an `advanced' phone priced at Rs 21,900.

These handsets are currently available in select cities in the country.
