THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Minister for Tourism and Fisheries, Prof K.V. Thomas, has said that Association of South East Asian (ASEAN) countries have been allowed to operate any number of flights into the Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode international airports.

According to the Minister, an assurance to this effect was extended to him by the Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Mr Rajiv Prathap Rudy. This was expected to give a fillip to inbound tourist traffic and relieve the seat availability position for passengers travelling to overseas destinations from Kerala, Prof Thomas said.
