The Hindu Business Line : Lupin files new drug application for psoriasis

LUPIN Ltd has filed an investigational new drug application (INDA) for a botanical oral treatment for psoriasis, Desoris (LLL-3348) with the Drug Controller General.

Based on animal data, Desoris (LLL-3348) has been found to be efficacious and safe with the animal pharmacokinetic data suggesting that the botanical Desoris (LLL-3348) could be used once a day.

According to a company release, this is Lupin's second IND application based on herbal R&D.

In early December, Lupin's INDA for the prophylactic treatment of migraine was approved by the DCGI.
