New Products & Services Parryware launches bathroom products Our Bureau
Chennai , Jan. 6 PARRYWARE, a division of the Rs 5, 000-crore Murugappa Group, has launched its latest collection of bathroom products targeted at the premium end of the market. The collection includes single piece water closets, designer glass basins, ceramic basins with pedestals, shower enclosures, shower panels, shower temples and urinals. Mr G. Ramprasad, CEO, Parryware, said that the housing boom in the past few years has been the driving force behind the growth in bathroom products. Now, with the entry of foreign brands, the consumer is willing to spend more on products, which not only look good but also are glamorous. Currently, the brand has 37 per cent market share and with the new products this is expected to go up to 40 per cent, he told newspersons. He said that along with an awareness of hygiene and water conservation there is a growth in commercial segments such as hotels, IT parks and multiplexes that will contribute to the company's market share increase. Parryware has set up experience centres in Chennai, Mumbai and Bangalore where customers can come and just look at the products.
