TVS-E, Rediff in tie-up

CHENNAI: TVS-ELECTRONICS Ltd today announced that it has entered into a pact with Rediff.com to sell its products over the Internet. The products include TVS ribbon cassettes, TVS ink bank and later, TVS service products.

A communiqué from TVS-E said that it has been selling its product through channel partners such as Tech Pacific, Redington and Ingram Micro. It added that the latest tie up would allow it to use the Internet as medium.

Mr S. Narendran, head marketing, TVS-E, said he expects close to 100 orders per week. The statement added that it expects its annual revenues to touch Rs 500 crore by 2006, from a current figure of Rs 228 crore.
