Rubber prices continue to fall

Our Correspondent

Kottayam , Jan. 7

RUBBER prices continued to surrender on Wednesday. Selling from certain nervous traders and growers pushed down the prices even though the transactions were low. Buyers seemed to be comfortable on the sidelines as all the grades except latex and ISNR 20 fell on mere negative sentiments.

The rubber futures showed signs of recovery on Wednesday. The January delivery for RSS 4 was quoted at Rs 53.19 (53.50), February delivery Rs 55.15 (55.05), March delivery Rs 57.70 (57.03), April delivery Rs 60.45 (59.84), May delivery Rs 63.45 (62.91) and June delivery at Rs 63.45 (62.91) per kg.
