New tech director for BDL

HYDERABAD: Commodore Pralay Kanti Samanta (Retd) has assumed charge as Director (Technical) of Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a defence public sector enterprise. He succeeds Mr P.R.K. Chakrapani, who retired in August last year.

According to a release from the BDL, Cmde Samanta joins the company after a tenure of over three decades in the Indian Navy. Before his new assignment, he held the post of Controller, Naval Armament Inspection, Mumbai.
