New Delhi , Jan. 7

JAGSON Airlines, which plans to start operations from Delhi to Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Rajkot next week, is in the process of acquiring four new 50-seater aircraft.

Addressing a press conference here, the airlines Chairman and Managing Director, Mr J.P. Gupta, said that the acquisition, which is likely to cost around Rs 200 crore, would help Jagson launch flights to more destinations.

However, Mr Gupta refused to speculate on the variety of aircraft the airline was considering. "Negotiations are on and we will not like to say much right now. However, we hope to get the aircraft this year itself," Mr Gupta said.
