State Bank of India has set up an ATM counter, probably the first of its kind in the country, in a jhankar (ferry) that operates between the High Court jetty in Ernakulam and the neigbouring Vypeen Island. The ATM, networked with SBI's Ernakulam branch, can be used to operate accounts with SBI, SBT and associated banks as well as new generation banks like ICICI and HDFC.
