CHENNAI: Property developers who are participating in the ICICI Home Loan Utsav in Chennai have agreed to offer sweeteners such as discounts up to Rs 200 per sq. ft, waiver of registration charges and stamp duty, free amenities such as car park and free furnishings such as air-conditioners and television. The Utsav, a property show, will be held here between January 9 and 11.

Some 60 builders are expected to offer on sale around 10,000 homes at the event. There will be a special counter for resale properties as well. ICICI Bank, from its side, will make the process of sanction and disbursement of loans simpler, to those who strike deals at the Utsav.
