ESPN STAR buys European football telecast rights

ESPN STAR has entered into an exclusive four-year agreement with England's governing body of football, The Football Association (FA), for telecast rights to the English FA Cup, English Premier League (EPL), UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup, Spanish Primera Liga.

Mr R.C. Venkateish, Managing Director, ESPN Software India Pvt Ltd, said: "We are also making special efforts to popularise the game and the international soccer properties in India."
