HYDERABAD: Airtel, a leading mobile service provider, has announced that it has reached yet another milestone in Andhra Pradesh when its customer base touched a new high of 5-lakh mark.

It has added the last 1-lakh customers in just 100 days. On the occasion of this momentous occasion, over 600 AirTel employees, channel partners and customers got together for a celebratory run in the City.

The victory lap was flagged off at Gymkhana Grounds, Secunderabad, by the former Cricket Captain, Mohd. Azharuddin, along with Mr K. Srinivas, Chief Operating Officer (COO), AP, Bharti Mobile Ltd. Mr Azharuddin handed over post-paid SIM cards along with the handsets to acoustically-challenged people in the city thereby opening a new world of communication to these people who are increasingly using SMS to communicate.
