National Youth Day fete in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Nehru Yuva Kendra will celebrate National Youth Day from Monday.

As part of the celebrations, a series of seminars will be held on a range of subjects including Swami Vivekananda's vision. Also on the anvil are rural arts and sports festivals, voluntary social activities, blood donation camps and health awareness campaign, which will be held at a number of centres in the State.

The Minister for Youth Affairs and Tribal Welfare, Mr M.A. Kuttappan, will inaugurate the celebrations here on Monday.
