PDPL opens second sales unit in State

PARENTERAL Drugs India Ltd (PDPL), the Indore-based pharmaceutical company, is expanding its facilities in Kerala to strengthen its marketing operations in the State.

The company, a leading player in IV fluids segment, is setting up its second sales depot in Thiruvananthapuram to provide better services in the State. It also has a depot located at Kakkanad near Kochi.

The new facility will enable the company to efficiently service its southern markets, Mr M.L. Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, said. He was here in connection with the launch of two new anti-inflammatory analgesic drugs — Ropfic and Valpic — in the market.

Mr Anil Mittal, CEO of the company, said that the company has ambitious plans to diversify in the field of small volume injectables and liquid orals.
