Net access in Shatabdi trains

BANGALORE: Intel Technologies India Pvt Ltd, with Indian Railways, announced country's first in-train Internet access service.

The service is available aboard North India-bound Shatabdi trains, covering seven cities in until January 28.

These trains will have a dedicated bogie with 8 work stations where passengers will be able to experience Intel Pentium 4 processor with hyper-threading technology-based PCs and Intel Centrino mobile technology-based notebooks. The Intel-branded coach will host PC awareness workshops and feature education and gaming zones.
