Call for innovative ideas to improve rural services

IN order to improve essential rural services such as water supply and sanitation, roads, education, health, electricity and finance particularly in terms of access and quality, the New Delhi office of the World Bank has called for innovative ideas.

Proposing a India Country-level Development Marketplace (IDM) on April 13, on the theme of `Improve rural services — Access and quality' to be jointly organised with FICCI, WHO, Microsoft, DFID, Assocham and Times Foundation here, the Bank said the guidelines for submitting proposals are available on www.worldbank.org.in.

. Winners would receive grant in the range of $10,000 to $15,000 from the World Bank and its partners in IDM.
