Color Chips signs MoU with Korean body

Hyderabad , Jan. 13

THE Hyderabad-based Color Chips India Limited, an animation and graphics company, on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding with Gwangju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency (GITCT) of South Korea to promote strategic business tie-ups and alliances between the former and South Korean animation companies.

Dr Sudhish S. Rambhotla, Chairman and Managing Director of Color Chips, and President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Young- Joo Kim, signed the MoU on the sidelines of the second Asian IT Ministers Summit here.

Established in Gwangju (S Korea), GITCT aims at promoting information, animation and culture industries in that country.

Under the agreement, GITCT would act as a facilitator between the Indian company and animation studies in S Korea to explore opportunities in technical collaboration, know-how transfer, business outsourcing and joint ventures.

The two concerns would also explore the emerging opportunities in the global market.
