THE Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of Andhra Pradesh (ALEAP) in collaboration with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) is conducting a month-long training programme for first generation entrepreneurs, both men and women from January 19.
The CED, an institute set up by the ALEAP, was inaugurated by the President, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, to undertake various training programmes such as skill development, entrepreneur development, self development and training programmes for Government sponsored schemes.
The President & Chairperson of ALEAP, Ms K. Ramadevi, said the CED would try to identify the common problems faced by first generation entrepreneurs and help them formulate a strategy for the future.
The programme is designed for entrepreneurs, who wish to start their own self-employment ventures. Topics such as entrepreneurship qualities & characteristics, various business opportunities in different sectors, planning and quality management, project report preparation, and franchisee opportunities would be covered, said Mr Siva Kumar, Director of CED.
Speakers from organisations such as SIDBI, CIPET, SISI, APITCO, besides State and Central Government agencies would be involved. Also faculty from different sectors have been invited.
