FIEO pact with Kazakh chamber

THE Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Union Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan (UCCIK) in Almaty.

A statement issued by FIEO said that the MoU has been signed with the objective of strengthening and enhancing trade cooperation between the two countries. The MoU proposes that FIEO and UCCIK would cooperate on investment, project study, conducting trade exhibitions, buyer-seller meets besides promotion of small and medium sized enterprises.

Mr K.H. Rakishev, President of UCCIK, and the leader of the Indian delegation, Mr G. Balachandran, the Director General of FIEO, signed the MoU.
