Meet on derivative products at Mangalore

MANGALORE: Corporation Bank, in association with National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune, conducted a workshop on "Derivative products" to bank executives at its corporate office in Mangalore.The Chairman and Managing Director of the bank, Mr Cherian Varghese, who inaugurated the workshop, said even corporates have begun showing interest towards derivative products by creating separate departments to handle them.

A press release from the Deputy General Manager of the bank, Mr B.R. Bhat, here on Wednesday said the programme dealt on key issues in derivatives.

The Director of NIBM, Dr Asish Saha, and Dr V. Subramanian of NIBM, conducted sessions on derivatives. The General Manager of the bank, Mr M. Narendra, was present.
