MUMBAI: Hinduja TMT has bagged a BPO contract from a large US health insurance company.

Initially for a three-year period, the assignment involves both transaction processing and client contact centre.

This is the second health insurance client secured by HTMT. The BPO firm is in the process of setting up a high-end call centre employing medical doctors.

According to an official release, the training and pilot project with about 80 transaction processors in three modules commenced from January 12, this year. The business has the potential to grow on similar lines as that of the existing client for whom 600 processors are already working, informed the release.
