BHEL bags Rs 20-cr order from IOC

BHARAT Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has bagged an order for a compressor and drive turbine package for Indian Oil Corporation's Panipat refinery expansion project against stiff competition from Japanese suppliers.

Valued at Rs 20 crore, the compressor package order has been placed on BHEL for the delayed coker unit of the refinery expansion project.

BHEL's scope of work in the contract envisages design, manufacture, testing and supply of a wet gas centrifugal compressor, a drive steam turbine and associated auxiliaries.
