TCS provides digital certificates to 12 delegates

TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) has issued digital certificates to 12 key delegates of the Second Asia Information Technology Ministers' Summit here.

TCS is a licensed certifying authority and is authorised by the Controller of Certifying Authorities, Government of India, to issue legally valid digital certificates as per the Indian IT Act, 2000.

Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister and Mr Arun Shourie, Union Minister for IT and Disinvestment, visited the TCS stall and were briefed about the TCS eSecurity and PKI Services offerings.

The Advanced Technology Centre, here has designed a complete PKI suite called "Dhruvam" for the issuance of digital certificates, generation and verification of digital signatures, and other aspects of secure transactions, according to a TCS release.
