New Products & Services Hyundai unveils CRDi version of Accent Viva Our Bureau
New Delhi , Jan. 17 HYUNDAI Motor India (HMIL) has announced the launch of the CRDi version of `Accent Viva' and said it would launch the compact car `Getz' and premium sedan `Elantra' by the middle of this year. The company is targeting to sell two lakh units in 2004 over 1.50 lakh units sold last year. "Exports would go up to 70,000 units from 30,000 units last year," Mr B.V.R. Subbu, President, HMIL, said. The Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDi) version of the Viva has been priced at Rs 6.55 lakh (ex-showroom), which would be uniform across India. Industry sources point out that the Elantra is expected to be rolled out in May, followed by the Getz later in the year.
