La-Mere nod for merger

MUMBAI: La-Mere Apparels Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that the board meeting held on January 9 approved the amalgamation of San Blue Enterprises Pvt. Ltd (a 100 per cent wholly-owned subsidiary) with the company, subject to the consent of the members in the general meeting and the High Court's approval.

The board also considered the purchase of a garment unit and decided to authorise Mr Sanjiv D. Shah, Managing Director and Mr Aanal R. Bhow, Director, to evaluate and decide on the proposal received for the said purpose.

The board also approved statements in lieu of advertisement through which the company can accept deposit without invitation to the public.
