New Chairman for Chemexcil

THE Delhi-based manufacturer and exporter of drugs and pharmaceuticals, Mr Mr Lalit Kumar Jain, has been elected Chairman of the drugs and pharmaceuticals panel of the Basic Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics Export Promotion Council (Chemexcil)

He replaces Mr Satish Wagh who was elected the Chairman of the Chemexcil after Mr Ajay Kadakia resigned from the post.

According to a statement, Mr Subhash Majithia, Mr S.K. Jindal, Mr Pradip Patil and Mr Anil Katyal, have been elected regional Chairmen for eastern, northern, Gujarat and Southern regions, respectively.

Drugs and pharmaceuticals account for about 60 per cent of the total export of the Chemexcil.
